I grew up surrounded by dogs and cats — Golden Retrievers, Border Collie x German Shepherd mixes, plus Siamese and Persian cats, even a rabbit and a horse. I haven’t had my own pet in 8 years due to a travel-heavy lifestyle, but I’m very comfortable around animals and miss having them in my daily routine. I’m happy with small or large dogs, as long as they’re friendly and non-aggressive (no biting history). I’d love to start with walks first — it’s a great way for us to get to know each other — and if the vibe is right, I’m open to drop-in visits, sitting, or overnights. I split my time between Barcelona (Vila de Gràcia), Waterloo, Belgium (near St John’s School — I walk those fields myself daily), and Berlin July 5–17. I’m reliable, communicative, and send photo updates during walks.
Question 1 (about the dog): Before we meet, it’d help to know a bit about your dog: any allergies I should be aware of? Are they generally easygoing with people and other dogs, or do they need more space/caution? Any sensitivities or fears (thunderstorms, fireworks, certain sounds)? How are they on leash — calm walker or a puller? And how would you describe their training level — solid recall, basic commands, still a work in progress? Also happy to know any quirks or habits (favorite routes, things that excite or stress them, treat preferences) so the walk feels familiar from day one. Question 2 (about other pets): Do you have other pets at home — cats, rabbits, or others? If so, how does your dog get on with them, and is there anything I should know if I’m ever around them too (e.g. during a sit or overnight)?
Hi! I’m a 34-year-old dog (and animal) lover, half-Belgian half-British, fluent in English, French, and Spanish. I grew up surrounded by pets — Golden Retrievers, Border Collie x German Shepherd mixes, plus cats (including Siamese and Persian) and even a rabbit and a horse. I haven’t owned my own pet for the past 8 years due to a travel-heavy lifestyle, but I miss having animals around daily and want dog walking to bring that back into my routine. I work in tech (audio-visual and digital health), so I’m reliable, organized, and good at communicating — you’ll get clear updates and photos, not radio silence. What I Offer 1. Walks first — this is my main focus and how I’d love to start with any new dog/owner • If we click and the dog is comfortable with me, happy to grow into drop-in sitting or overnight stays as needed • Comfortable with small and large dogs • I prefer calm, non-aggressive dogs (no biting history, please!) — gentle giants and easygoing pups are my favorites Where I Walk • Barcelona, Spain — Vila de Gràcia (year-round base) • Waterloo, Belgium — near St John’s School / the Lion’s Mound area; I walk the Napoleon battlefield fields myself morning and evening, so your dog gets a real countryside ramble, not just a block loop • Berlin, Germany — July 5–17 only, near Georgen-Parochial II Cemetery (Georgen-Parochial-Friedhof II)
Elke boeking op Sittsy is gratis gedekt — tot € 20.000 bescherming voor dierenartszorg, materiële schade en meer.
